The Dakota County Sheriff's Office makes active warrant information available to the public through its Warrant Search tool. Individuals may perform a search by name or date of birth. Other ways to obtain active warrant information from the Sheriff's Office include by phone at (651) 438-4700, by email at sheriff@co.dakota.mn.us, and in person during business hours.

Warrant status checks can also be conducted through the Dakota County District Court.
